Uploading Pictures

Instructions for uploading pictures.

1. Make sure you are logged in by entering your user id on the right.


2. Click on Nation Gallery.


3. Click on the Tribal Gallery that you want to add to.


4. Choose whether you want to add to an existing album, or create a new album.
   
   
   
   
   1. To add to an existing album, click on the albumthat you want to add to.
   
   
   2. To create a new album, click on Add Album on the left.
   
   
   
   


5. Now you're ready to add pictures, click on Add Items on the left.


6. You now have a couple options to upload pictures:
   
   
   
   
   1. By Web Browser (this is the default)
      
      
      
      
      1. Enter the name of the picture that you want to upload.  Note: If you upload a zip file, it will unzip once uploaded.  This is the fastest way to upload pictures.
      
      
      
      
   
   
   2. By Upload Applet (this is the easiest way).  Note: This requires Java on your PC.
      
      
      
      
      1. Click on the upload applet tab.
      
      
      2. The applet will download automatically.
      
      
      3. You can then drag and drop the pictures to the applet, or hit the add pictures button.
      
      
      
      
   
   
   
   


7. If you add categories or tags to pictures they can be filtered later.
